What the workshop covers:

What is Innovation and why does it matter?

Complete a challenge from idea to prototype- solve a real problem for real people.

You will learn that innovating is serious stuff, but equally fun!

Age: 9+ years

We have run the club as an extracurricular programme at some
of the best private and state schools in London with ‘outstanding’ ratings, and received excellent feedback from teachers, parents and kids who thoroughly enjoyed thinking beyond the boundaries of conventional wisdom.

What is it all about?

What is it all about?

At the Club, we believe that creative thinking and critical thinking are superpowers – necessary life skills that open up alternate thought processes and inspire children to believe that they have the power to make a difference. The power to change people’s lives, starting with their own.

So what exactly are these superpowers?

Innovative thinking

Problem-solving

Empathy

Social consciousness

Creative confidence

Environmental awareness

The Innovation Champions’ Club is a programme and a platform that helps children think out of the box and channel their creative energy, equipping them with the necessary skills for creativity and problem solving.

Here’s a fun challenge!

Imagine this:

A dining adventure where your family and you become food explorers! Put on your explorer hats, grab your spoons and embark on a delicious journey of discovering new and exciting ways to munch on nutritious foods. From broccoli spaceship bites to carrot magic wands, let your taste buds dance with joy as you conquer the land of healthy eating together...

In short, come up with innovative ideas to eat more nutritious meals as a family.

Rules of engagement:

  • 1. Remember, don’t judge any idea. The crazier the better!
  • 2. Don’t be limited by what’s realistic and what’s not.
  • 3. Polish your idea, think it through, but don't worry about whether it’s feasible or not for now.
  • You are never too young to innovate to make a positive impact!

    Testimonials

“What I loved about Innovation Champions was that I learned all about people who are innovative and create things. I also learned that no idea is a bad idea because it is creative to you and might end up helping you. We made something that we thought would help the school. It helped me learn that most things are possible.”

“I enjoyed making the model of the ideas because we got to use a lot of ideas. This made it really fun. I also enjoyed designing and it was great to think of all the ideas.”

    Lily, 9 year old

“It taught me how to think outside the box, how to think differently.”

“Innovation Champions’ Club linked with our Growth Mindset work in school is encouraging the children to be creative, independent thinkers; something so vital in this fast paced world. The children clearly engaged with the programme very well, got a lot from it and hugely enjoyed themselves.”
